Hiroshi Yamauchi and Shigeru Miyamoto are Nintendo power. Why do you suppose Nintendo was involved with the creation of Kirby's Adventure, OP? Could it be because HAL Laboratory has had a close relationship with Nintendo for 30+ years and have released virtually all their games, minus a few, on Nintendo platforms? They're so close to Nintendo that they recently moved their offices to the inside of Nintendo's Kyoto headquarters. Even though they are technically independent from Nintendo, they've been in bed with them for too long to ever, ever, EVER dream of releasing a Kirby game on any non-Nintendo platform without Nintendo's involvement.
