Episode 1 of NERF has such a fucking bizzarre joke of a final level it knocks the goddamn wind out of me just thinking about it.

>they do not open in any way
>"GO FUCK YOURSELF" spelled out on the floor
>there are four shotgunners
>since you're playing on Nightmare, they will respawn endlessly
>so what you're supposed to do is to kill these baldies over and over
>until there is more than 128 dead guys and/or dropped guns, in a straight line or pile
>after like 6-7 minutes of grinding (btw 5 minutes into the level, shutters are opened to reveal a neural upscaled closeup image of the Cyberdemon's mighty and muscled ass), and having stacked over 128 bodies and guns, you can then shoot over more than 128 objects at once
>thus, your hitscan scans more than 128 times and overflows the registry
>when hitscan overflows its registry, it ends up in the adjacent blockmap data and overwrites stuff loaded into memory there, corrupting it
>so what happens is that the collision for the entire level almost completely breaks
>known as the Intercept Overflow, or "All Ghosts Bug," normally very rare
>you can't hit switches or open doors, but that doesn't matter too much because walls and barriers stop being solid
>thus, the bars blocking the exit aren't a problem, so you can go phase through them and stand on the E1M8 style hurt exit floor to end the level
>but only in the original .exe or ports which don't fix the bug (almost all do, one replicates vanilla behavior down to bugs, another lets you toggle this behavior)
>this is all set to a loud and bass boosted techno/house remix of "HEY EVERYBODY, I'M LOOKING AT GAY PORNO"

Doom will have been with us for 30 years this December, and every now and then someone occasionally still comes up with some brilliantly novel or/and demented shit nobody ever thought to do before. In the original .exe and all.
