Could a Sonic game built with the Nights engine have save the Saturn in the West?

Yearly reminder that the Sonic X-Treme Team at Sony of America (I believe it was a four man team but correct me if I'm wrong) were bullied and hassled into doing unpaid overtime to try and program and design this game out for the Saturn's general release to the point where one of the fellas who shall not name developed pneumonia from working relentless hours without much to no sleep (they camped at their development Office) and was hospitalized for said pneumonia. And yet Sonic X-Treme was never finished.

I'm not saying Nintendo was better because their salarymen in Japan probably got put under the same conditions for various games (although they at least produced valid results) but what the fuck do you expect?

Also, even though it is Bernie's fault, because he should have instructed his executives and underlings better as he's top of the pile; but perhaps his executives could have called better and more reasonable shots.

I love capitalism too. Those bastards in SOA needed to run their company better.
