By the way, I was thinking we might have seen Sega Smash Pack and thought this (I also remember seeing Ecco for Dreamcast, so maybe I'm mixing my memory up with that). I was 8-9 and at Best Buy when I remember hearing this, for reference. I was picking up MvC1 with older bro, not even knowing what Street Fighter was (grew up with Mortal Kombat 2-3 on Gen and Trilogy on 64, instead).

In any case, I just remember seeing PS2 Shinobi when it came out and remembering this possibly false memory.
