I've decided to hook up one of my old CRT TVs and play some games. While doing exactly that I noticed this "artifact" or whatever the hell it's called, as you can see the brighter objects on a darker grey background show these elongated bands of increased brightness to their right. It only happens on certain color combinations like this one, as you can also see in the black band on top of the image where the HUD is displayed, the bright elements do not stretch into the black section. Also just to be clear, the game is paused here, the image is static, this isn't some sort of motion trail or something like that.

Anyone know what this is called specifically and if there's anything I could do to get rid of it? I *have* already tried a different TV with the same cables and everything, that TV doesn't do this so I'm inclined to think the cables and the source aren't the problem. Could I adjust something to get rid of this behavior, either in the service menu or perhaps something if I open it up?

Also I swear I used it for a couple of weeks and it only started doing this recently, so I'm not sure if I could've messed something up in the service menu (I adjusted picture size, positioning and so on) or if it was actually always doing this but I simply did not run into a situation where it was noticeable.
