>trying to find SNES controllers to play with
>seeing a bunch of 3rd party ones
>ones actually made by Nintendo cost more

Can I trust 3rd party controllers when it comes to playing on the SNES? I don't see how you could fuck up with such a simple controller but you never know.

One of these with a USB adapter.

That's when I choose to emulate. I play on the original hardware whenever possible.

I bought the G-Tron SNES pad and the D-Pad isn't stellar
I don't expect the pad to last more than maybe 6 months, given the build quality
The Mayflash Classic Controller adapter has this lovely little >Holding button
>Megaman's charging his buster
>Ok cool
>Like 4 seconds later
>Shot fired off
>Immediately charging a new shot

I recently found out that pretty much every Mayflash adapter is like this, and fuck that
I already have a USB 360 pad, but fuck that fuck that fuuuuuuuuuuck that when it comes to emulating retro vidya. When emulating retro, the only thing I need in a pad is for the buttons to actually function & for the pad to be the shape of the SNES pad (Top tier controller IMO)
What does /v/ use?

>TL;DR, I want a usb gamepad that's kind of in the shape of a SNES controller, has all the buttons of a SNES controller, and will last me a reasonably long time

>inb4 mod your wii
I'd like to record footage without a capture card for reasons. Nevermind why.

There have been threads on what the most advanced NES game is, but what about the SNES? What are the most technically impressive games for it?

The easy answer might be Star Fox or not, I have no idea but what about games with the most impressive sprite work, or animations, or music?
