It didn't occur to me to start by looking at the bottom of the pts file to see where the leak terminates. That doesn't help me understand why the geometry that was fine yesterday before I moved shit could be reinstated and leak today.

I know there is a guy that mostly makes his maps by importing shit from a 3D modelling program. I can't remember his name, but he has been involved in speedmapping compilations.

Is it just me or are the quake jams getting worse? So many of the halloween and xmas jams' maps focused way too much on visuals, with linear and overly scripted gameplay. I think AD is the culprit. The mod is good, but it gives people the tools to do evil. Kind of like how zdoom maps are usually worse than vanilla/boom maps because people misuse all the new possibilities.
