Are turds who sperg about using machine translation in any form common in the japanese game translation scene? Over in the STALKER community it's pretty chill, translated anything is rare enough to the point where nobody really complains about a translation unless it's just incomprehensible, and even then you'll still get people who will play it.

Pro tip: Use Google Sheets to organize text that needs to be translated, that way it's easier to keep an eye on such things, revise on the fly, or work in a group. Plus translators or revisers can leave comments.
