Who else feels like Sly 2 is the weakest game in the series?
People criticized the Sly games for being way too short but this one just drags itself out for way too long. Neyla and Arpeggio feel like underdeveloped disappointments which shouldn't be the case for their role in the game or any Sly villain worth their salt, and Murray and Bently feel like downgrades you're stuck with more than extra options that can stand on their own in the hubworlds.
Sly 1 was just straightforward with little fuck ups and 3 cut a lot of the unneeded fat while still giving you variety to keep your attention like the pirate minigame. The only downgrade from 2 is not having clue bottles to incentivize exploring the world.
2 isn't bad game all by the way, I just personally don't understand why it's ranked the highest in the trilogy.

Sucks that Japanese didn't get 3 til the PS3 trilogy collection it's the best in the series after all
