Nope, laser is in pristine functional condition, I have spent more time playing on OPL than with actual physical cds. All the ps2 games get booted on the first try, zero freezing or anything and I have never, ever managed to boot a ps1 game and I tried a bunch. Ultimatively not a huge issue because I have a modded PSone and few of my personal favorites work well enough on POPstarter too so who cares.

taught me about braking points, counter steer, cornering lines and apexes, entry speed.

It taught me to be a virtual racecar driver and gave me a bunch of useless trivia knowledge about a bunch of jappy cars I had never heard of before. This game is the reason I do amateur motorsport now that I have some money to do it for real.
