Would be a pretty huge sling, and would be impossible to impart the appropriate spin that way, leaving it up to chance for if I would hit with the tip or not (the shaped explosive will do basically nothing to a tank if it doesn't hit straight on).
Maybe if I rifle throw it like a football.
