If they do end up making a new controller inspired by the DC/3D Saturn, they could do worse.
The prototype for the Dreamcast controller had more room for a screen and could feel more ergonomic. As well as having six equal sized buttons.

It could've perhaps accommodated a larger screen within the DC's prototype designs. That may be worth considering for future remade designs.
