I will be honest with you, I have no idea what Im doing or why that would be a problem.
I tried turning rom into bitmap to see if there are any patterns that may be something akin to a sprite and to be honest there maybe are few?
At least there are some visually different parts and that probably means something.

that should actually make things easier, I think, the only sprites being the sky sprites and maybe road, all other shit being just colored vertices.
Now, the question is HOW said sky sprite data is stored inside the rom file, if its just a bitmap it may be one of distinct fields in pic related and I just need to find the right width to arrange the string of data into a picture. Tedious, but doable.
If its some other format, thats much more difficult if there are no headers to recognize, and there probably would be none.
