here's the permanent level 1 save. you can opt to do a no equip/sub weapon run too but its still kinda easy. the save has you at level 99 but level 1 stats. you'll never have enough mp for soul steal, nor will your familiars level.

think of it as "normal" difficulty. equipment plus still getting the hp ups from defeated bosses keeps it from being silly. you could choose to not use equipment if you want legit hardmode.

also another fun note, alucard being level 99 means your familiars will never get stronger than level 1.
