I explained up above that they feel incomplete. Length-wise they are nowhere near as involved as I and II. You do not see any new areas and solve puzzles that you had basically just solved one parallel earlier. That in itself is not exciting.

The story does not feel as fleshed out, because it has no room to explore or explain anything. This can be forgiven in the case of IV since it's supposed to be "wrapping things up." But III feels barren and practically lifeless. If had taken you on a completely different journey to reach the same conclusion, then I would have been much happier with it.
