Easiest way to play it on a modern PC?

One thing I've noticed about Japanese games is that they generally have nicer looking menus, interfaces and fonts than western ones. Lots of exceptions of course

Second and third games are my favorites. Breath of Fire 2 is a grindfest at the start until you get rolling, and then it's pretty much smooth sailing once you get all the cool moves and attacks.

Katt is my favorite character though I'm not a fur. Got nothing against furs, though.

As for Civilization, I loved the isometric view of the second game. Third Civilization game didn't happen. Critics will point to the fourth game as being the best, but Civ 5 and 6 blow it out of the water in terms of gameplay and quality.

Like, they finally fixed the problem were games last 24 hours to finish. And the leaders with secret motives was a nice touch.

Sid Meier is a genius.

... You can literally make any genre sound stupid when described this way. All games include repetition, it's called a 'gameplay loop'.
