Not really new - its been on the Doom64EX forums for years. Seems Antnee only just made a thread on DW though.

Eh doesn't have the 5-part sector lighting that makes Doom64 so atmospheric. They try to fake it using dynamic lights.

For example in pic related you can see one color at the bottom of the pillars which seamlessly blends into another at the top. This is not possible in zdoom / GZDoom. Original Doom64 has 5 different colors for each sector: a floor, ceiling, lower wall, upper wall, and thing color. They can all be different and can be any color. The lower wall color will seamlessly blend into the upper wall color.

The Best way to play Doom64 on PC has always been Doom64EX.
