/vr/ - Retro Games

I bought one because my friend has a big screen TV and a SNES Classic, and I wanted something similar to bring over people's houses that wasn't limited to SNES games. Being cheaper and more powerful than the SNES Classic I'd say it's worth it.

The main reason I keep it around is the portability. You can slip it in your pocket and bring it over someone's house. otherwise I rarely use it.

It runs NES and SNES games perfectly. It runs most PS1 games OK too. Tony Hawk is laggy and unplayable, Spyro works flawlessly, most JRPGs and racing games work just fine.

PS1 was the peak of racing game goodness.

Forgetting a bunch but these are the ones I cycle through. Basically if it has a car and a 2 on the cover, fucking play it.
