I'd never played it before that guy spammed it a few weeks ago, picked it up and finished it over a weekend.

It was really good. I'd heard it was good, but I figured most of it was nostalgia goggles so went in with low expectations. I didn't think an N64 game from 1998 could be so massive and detailed. The story, music, dungeons, just the right amount of difficulty, puzzles that are challenging but not too frustrating. Horse riding, cool enemies, boss fights. Unlike the above anon, framerate wasn't a problem for me as I got used to it quickly, had no problems with the camera and graphics of old games don't bother me.

Only parts I hated were the shooting galleries, very frustrating with the N64 stick. The water dungeon wasn't actually as bad as I'd heard it was. Also fuck these things and the Dead Hand, creepy as all hell. But yeah, solid 10/10.

I'm getting into Majora's Mask this weekend so hopefully it's just as good.
