Lol... kiddo, you don't know what you're talking about. The characters/karts in MK64 are all 2D. They are pre-rendered models which the devs basically took 2D "pictures" of at different angles and then turned into an animation. Same with every item you use. They LOOK 3D just like stuff in Donkey Kong Country looks 3D, but it's an illusion.

I don't know where you're getting any of this from. The N64 didn't have any trouble with 2D games, it actually excelled at them, Nintendo just didn't bother making them because they weren't popular at the time. Not trying to be rude but you don't have a single fucking clue what you're talking about.
