Hey let's have a retro games jokes thread.

Today I was playing Nethack, and I had a character I was really partial to. I was running from a mind flayer, and tried to teleport away. I had a ring of teleport control I could have been using, but I didn't want to accelerate my already near-critical hunger. So I used the teleport scroll, and it teleported me right INTO the mind flayer. Worst death ever. But, I guess the lesson here is, if I liked it then I shoulda put a ring on it!
