First of all anon, the japanese name for Crash Bandicoot Warped is "Crash 3: Warped".

Second, you're flat out right. It wasn't a world tour. All those places were periods in time. I get that you're a sheltered westerner but in the modern day(late 90s by Warped's consideration) there were not pirates as depicted in the game and pre-islamic arabia is not really much of a thing anymore. It's all islamic for the most part. People don't use WW1 fighter planes and those police cars on the highway level are certainly not still in use by american officers. The Great Wall of China is not flourishing, it is in a state of decay, the roman empire does not exist, and the medieval era has LONG SINCE FUCKING PASSED.
