I mean, these threads talk about devices built to emulate and play retro video games, the whole point of /vr/ pretty much, playing retro video games, you don't see people talk much about playing brand new stuff on Steam with their ROG Ally or Steam Deck, it's mostly these weaker machines that struggle to run PS2 properly, they're used for playing pretty much up to PS1 and that's it, for most people at least... also, it's a single thread on /vr/'s catalog, just don't click on it if you hate it so much, it's really not a big deal and having this thread keeps the talks about these devices contained, instead of having a bunch of threads for them.

Generic Game Boy + GBC + recommendations thread. What 5 color 160×144 pixel games are you playing in current year? Does it hold up today? A lot of the games I had didn't. Here's a few I played recently:

Super Mario Land 1: Meh - Really easy, but weird.... also turtle's and bosses just explode??
Survival Kids: Good - Still fun to run around an island looking for wood.
Perfect Dark: Good - It has fucking VOICE ACTING also its just fun to shoot junk.
Metroid 2: Meh - Easily the weakest in the trilogy(?) 1 and Super or even the GBA entries are way more fun.
