Nothing went wrong, even if it's indeed too easy. Playing this game back it was released was an amazing experience.

Now that I'm 30+, I guess the whole "let's go on an adventure" drive would annoy me, but I guess it's just because I have a shitty job with a pay much lower than what I could get with all my diplomas. You can't really be excited to discover the new continent and then cross over the wall of the world when you have to get up at 6 AM for work and listen to a fat single eggless HR manager bitch for no reason.

Does anyone have a clue about the price of the limited edition release of LSD? I only see price ranges for standard online.
Picked up a copy of the limited edition last time I was in Japland and am curious.

Too subjective. You should moreso think what YOU want to feel comfy. I'll give it a shot.

Go LCD. You can change the aspect ratio and zoom effects to customize the look for many games, you don't have to wait for tube(s) to "warm up", you don't have to degauss, worry about magnets/speakers which may or may not be in or along the unit if its TV, and you can use it for more modern systems. LCD may not have dials for the sake of fine tuning the picture but it generally display more advanced colours/lighting/shading which you will need if you get a unit like say a ps2. I have heard of some LCD TV can suffer refresh rate problems with older systems that use AV or component but I haven't encountered the problem myself but I have old LCD. I would recommend to check out the sharpness setting to make it look just right to your eyes defending how you TV implements it. My current LCD doesn't have edge enhancement until 91/100 for some reason so I set it to 90 as it just mattes or dulls the picture down beneath that - from my understanding Sharpness generally should be set to 0 but I still highly enough to tweak this setting so you don't get distracted by bad visuals or bleeding. My last TV's sharpness was set to 2 and sometimes 3. I know I blather here but this setting makes all the difference in my opinion.

If you want to go CRT, try to find one those rare flat-screen ones. So nice~ Same thing with sharpness applies to crt, too. Otherwise beware what you buy and always test it with an actual signal input before you buy

Get a good chair you can sit on few a few hours with good posture if not a recliner. Make that TV equal to slightly lower than head level so you can look down or straight and not crick your neck from up.

Everything else is to your tastes and preferences, anon. But for ps1 and n64, I'd go LCD if you don't want to go any older - but I play as far back as the 2600 on my LCD with no issues but your screen or tastes may not have the same sentiment.
