Leave it in direct sunlight in summer. It's free.

>Who here plays with their console in full sun during the month of August?

Direct full sun would have whiten the console, not yellow it.

>Don't you have to cover it in a chemical agent to create a reaction?
Nope.
That is an outdated method. Just plain sunlight will do a lot of work.

LS-32 will probably be a very tight fit, and will require damaging the top artwork panel.
The alternative is to refurbish the stick that is already in it. The buttons can also be refurbed.

Sunlight -> window -> console = yellowing
Sunlight -> console = de-yellowing

The process can be reverted to some extent so it will never be new. The good news is, yellowing takes years, but de-yellowing takes days. Still I would try to be careful, at the very least do not store your console on a shelf which has glass windows. It's what I had done to that game boy. Big mistake.

All you need is to leave the console in the sun. Retrobright isn't required. In fact, consider you need to leave the console in the sun after using retrobright, it makes one wonder if it even works.

NES
Mom gave it to my cousins when we got a PS1 because they were poorer than us.
Turns out their mom wouldn't let them play it and they played it literally ONCE when WE visited and they made ME ask for the console.
Few years later they actually turned rich and got a PS2. That NES was never heard of again.

As for NES games, we'd get one once in a while. One time a friend even gave me a game he didn't like for my birthday, and it was a good game (Mission Impossible).

I still have my OG phat GB however but it's broken, I intend to repair it. Last summer I de-yellowed it already.
