I got a copy of that for PS1 from gamestop's retro program mostly because I'm a bit touchy about PC games for some reason I'm not entirely sure of myself

on the subject of RE3, there's all sorts of neat little stiff hidden in the backgrounds, such as this capcom coat of arms

there's adapters for using a gamcube controller on xbox? holy shit I need 20 of those, the gamecube controller is one of my favorites and both xbox controllers are awkward and unpleasant

but I do like that basically every PS2 game ported to the xbox is always better in one way or another, while every multiplay game usually performs best on xbox. such an interesting console that, personally, I have nothing but disdain for because of how goddamn annoying it is to find a fully functional one

the hospital in outbreak was actually pretty true to the original in 3. in fact, the general areas explored in outbreak that appeared in previous games were very true to their original appearances, save for the missing third floor in the RPD in file #2

raccoon city was designed by japanese people who aren't entirely sure what an american city/town looks like, as seen by the sheer amount of alleyways and tiny streets

there's actually quite a lot of interesting things the CG artists for the backgrounds put in

for instance: this capcom coat of arms

there's an RPD bike outside of the warehouse you start in

there's a poster in the alley outside that that mentions capcom

there's also a poster for a "biohazard 4" outside the theater near the restaurant you can meet carlos in

I think the BG artists just liked to fuck around a lot
