Looks like everyone already beat me to some of the best ones, so I'll just throw Shadowrun in there. I know most people prefer the Genesis one, but for whatever reason (probably nostalgia desu), this is one of the SNES games that I always return to.

Its got a somber post apoc A E S T H E T I C like in some parts of Crono trigger but with a darker mind ffuck of a story line. I played it in college for the first time and it reeeeally hit the spot

My pick. Be warned though it has aged like pure diarrhea butts in many many ways

Does this game have the most underrated setting in all of gaming? I am actually surprised it's setting and themes haven't been copied much if at all.

From what I seen of Shadowrun Returns it doesn't seem to capture the same feel that the SNES game did although it looks like an okay game.

It is one of my favorite RPG's (I barely like any) on the system. Bonus points for having an official SWEDISH translation, making it possibly the only SNES game to be sold in Swedish. The German translation is good too
