I come from /v/ mostly because that is the topic that interests me most, though I don't have any recent consoles and I find myself always playing games from the time period I was born into (I am 26 years old so not surprising that it is 16 bit era and afterwards). I came here because as said I don't own anything recent, possibly because it doesn't interest me as much, and I like to see people talk about games I use to play or eventually played well over a decade later through emulation.

Sharing tips on how to get through levels or how to best use the games mechanics to your advantage and seeing people triumph over a game.

>I actually LIKE the slow nature of /vr/, because I don't have the time to be on forechin daily.
Same here, also shows that the bulk of these threads cannot survive on /v/ due to how frequent responses are. I can talk to a person and have posts range from many hours from one another and not worry about the thread 404'ing.

I still want to 1CC an arcade game. Given more time I am sure I will triumph. I am also one of the resident SaGafags.

I liked Vagrant Story much more than Xenogears.

Also if other Square games then I'd have to mention the entire SaGa series. God damn I love SaGa.
