Not him but it's very minor. The Turbo version is a little harder and you can hear more of the sound effects, palette is maybe slightly different and the soundtrack is a little different (personally I prefer the SEGA CD version)

I feel like the game being on another very obscure platform shouldn't detract from it being on SEGA CD. It still rocks on both

SNES used to be my favorite console until I played SEGA CD. It's literally like Genesis on steroids. There's really nothing like it on SNES, closest thing is Turbo-Grafx CD and 3DO. 32X doesn't have many games but it's wild seeing 3D games on the Genesis, AND both are much easier to emulate (and imho better in general) than the Saturn.

I'd say SNES and Genesis are tied when it comes to platformers. Saturn has tons of shmups but I honestly prefer the ones on Genesis, SEGA CD, and TurboGrafx-CD. Pic related

What beat 'em ups and JRPG's do you like OP? Square made Einhander which is pretty good imo. Capcom is also known for the 1940 series, Carrier Air Wing, U.N. Squadron, Eco Fighters, and several others.

Personally I prefer cute 'em ups and older shmups over the newer ones. You might even end up preferring something like Galaga or Galaxian for their simplicity

If you like that, wait until you see Lords of Thunder

You might also like Mick and Mack: Global Gladiators for Genesis

Play Lords of Thunder on SEGA CD instead. Anyway, my favorite game on it is probably Ginga Fukei Densetsu: Sapphire, followed by Cotton: Fantastic Night Dreams (has special arranged soundtrack), and Super Air Zonk. Also try

Mad Stalker
Kaze Kiri: Ninja Action
Riot Zone
Double Dragon II
Shubibinman 3

Legitimately one of my favorite shmups. Blows the 32-bit ones out of the water honestly

>>10088876
It's fun but probably better with multiplayer since iirc there are no other contestants if it's only one player

This is a very good list, I also like Road Rash, Starblade, Pitfall: The Mayan Adventure, After Burner III.. I've heard good things about Mickey Mania as well. Honestly there's a ton of great games on it, despite being an add-on it actually has a lot more games than its rival the 3DO.
