Is there a complete guide in how to hookup a linux PC to a consumer CRT and get it to display 480i (240p with groovy mame)? And how expensive and difficult could it be? I can get a VGA capable PC no problem, do I need to get a expensive VGA to component adapter just like I'd have to if I wanted to convert HDMI to component? Also, is there anything similar to goovymame for retroarch? (or for console emulators for that matter).
