I remember playing at a tournament for the original Super Street Fighter 2 and they had an early build of Super Turbo running. The yellow flash was not only for super attack finishes, but any special attack finishes. There was one guy that had a great run on the beta machine while the tournament was ongoing. This poster was from that very tournament.

I did keep a lot of the magazines I had which may have random ones; somehow the first I remember is a kind of ugly surrealist X-men one for the Genesis that was included in EGM. Some games had them all folded up and included inside the case/box, like the Konami NES games with the silver sides. In finding this poster, it was rolled up with a couple Thousand Arms posters that was for the promotion where you can mail in for a desktop CD-ROM accessories plus the posters for the launch of the game. Once I earn enough to afford my own place, I will consider hanging them.

Same. It is a nice idea for a site, maybe even one which could auto-generate one with image inputs, but it will have problems maintaining itself as there's no clear way to cover its own costs.

Thanks. It is concept only, since you can see the ESRB mark, Seal of Quality, player count, aren't exactly to the specs it was. Even the SSF2 logo seems a bit off in its color. I was planning on taking some screenshots for the back and copying the original text for the back cover.

Nice, that's one, saving it. It should do good on the front top and spine bottom.

I think they a great commercialized artwork but sometimes I want more, like a print of the artwork. I have a few from back then, but I wish I could afford a place such that I could display them. For now they are all rolled up and put away so I can stay agile to move from place to place. Until rent or housing becomes affordable, it is not practical to display them.

It is a foreign concept to me, since I main charge characters. Grapplers eat so much damage, just for a brief moment of dopamine of which then reverts back to continual misery. I am more comfortable creating a gauntlet wall of attacks or going in with the intention to intimidate and frustrate, so I've never felt the fear of any grapple character.

There's also the regular Super Street Fighter game for DOS which has that silhouette on brick wall artwork for the cover.

I want to, but there's no assurance I could avoid legal action. I am in a poor place financially to even have legal representation.

Yeah, the Walmarts around me had those shareware discs in a metal shelf. I'd have loved to get more of them. I did get that green Wolfenstein 3D box from Walmart which finally gave me a registered version to play all 6 episodes.

I still do, it is my favorite iteration of 2. There are also interesting ports of it as well.

It was my game of choice, but in those days I was getting lonelier on the machine as my competition was pulled away by the Mortal Kombat games. I still harbor a hate for the Mortal Kombat games to this day, as they were shit, and I was able to recognize that back then. They all came back to SSF2T too. So many great arcade experiences with the game. Felt good with everyone watching.

I forgot about that poster! Kept it all these years,
