Alright anons, give me a hand with this.
I'm making my first full map. I've made a few but most are kinda shit and are mostly just for getting used to how Doom Builder worked.
So here's how I have everything laid out.
The spawn room is just a little quite safe room, dark and kinda flashy.
The room forward of it is a hub.
3 doors, 1 in front which I'mm set up layer, that'll be locked by two keys.
The two rooms on the other sides lead to the keys.
Since this is my first map, I wanted each room to be a different type of map.
So the left is an outdoor, more curved walls, open decorated room.
The room on the right a locked arena where you're forced to fight enemies to get out of.
The middle door, leading to a tight corridor with sharp turns.
I wanted to try different types of map styles with each room to get a feel for how they're designed.
Since this is my first map, things are pretty simple, I'm still learning how to do this.
My main question is, I created a big open outdoor map on the left.
My intentions were to make a maze out of trees.
Turns out you can just see through it, easily avoiding any obstetrical, It also looked like shit.
Now I don't know what to do with it.
So should I scrap it? What do you guys suggest?
