Yeah, i've heard about that much. Don't really mind that, not like i'm exactly sociable around here either.

Their society is really fucking interesting to me, if anything because it's completely alien. Also, i'm hopelessly attracted to their ancient cultural stuff like temples and battlefields, not to mention glorious neon-laden alleys and cheap retro vidya, and close proximity to the people that still make vidya right.

Any of you actually plan to go to grorious Nihon/have already gone? I'm already pooling my dosh for a 3 week~ trip; by the time i scrape enough together (a little over a year, i think) i should already know enough Japanese to not die of exposure.

Will bring about 1000 dollars and an empty suitcase to buy sweet sweet retro vidya. Anyone knows if there's a limit to the stuff you can buy, like in the US? Can i mail shit to myself to bypass said limit?
