>Except it is censorship of anyone who doesn't agree with the LGBT/feminist agenda.

Now you're just pulling things out of your ass. Since when was Ann Coulter forced to stop publishing books, or Rush Limbaugh of Pat Robertson forced off the air? You can't tune into a single broadcast of The 700 Club without having to sit through Pat Robertson sermonizing about how homosexuals, atheists or the evil librul agenda are to blame for every natural disaster in the news. Had he said blacks were to blame for natural disasters, only then ABC probably would have censured him. Discrimination against LGBT people or non-religious folk isn't considered by the media to be on the same level as racism.

Unless you count general nudity, there was never much censorship of "politically incorrect" concepts in retro games, so much as censorship of anything that would offend fundamentalist Christians or cause soccer moms to stage a protest. (e.g. LGBT characters in video games, or religious / demonic / anti-religious references)

tumblr didn't exist a few decades ago, so there was no concept of "social justice" as it's seen today. It was mostly the far-right throwing a fit and demanding that every form of media be subject to rigid censorship standards, and that is in fact still the case today. tumbrlites just seem more vocal because the advent of the social networking has given them a larger platform for their politics.
