It's kinda sad to think all these faggots who cry up and down about how platformers died haven't even played all the platformers available to them. Then they go on and make soulless clones of games people already played to death and do a mediocre job at it. As if anyone wants to play a knockoff that brings nothing new to the table.

This shit is all over the indie game industry and isn't exclusive to platformers.

>wanted a place to discuss 6th-gen games that wasn't /v/, fuck that shithole
>I thought /v2k/ was a fine solution but i believed it unreasonable that hiroshimoot would add another video game board, so I fought for 6th-gen on /vr/ thinking it was the only option
>he's added a shitload of boards since and none of them were /v2k/
I am so god damn confused. I got what I wanted, technically, but nothing's adding up right.

The graphics and sound take a nasty hit, but they have some fun perks. The minigames are fun, the KONG letters are factored into completion rating now, and you can save any time instead of needing to find the designated save character on the map. I would play the original SNES games first, but the GBA games are great if you ever feel like revisiting one you've beaten.
