This game triggers me hard. The fact there's noticeable cooldown between shots makes this way less fun than Galaga.

Any tricks to avoid enemy fire and get better score like maybe shooting enemies in certain order? I usually start with boss columns so they won't pick up their red friends and attack me in triple formation, but blue ones are even more annoying.
