Comfy ass piece of game.
It's quite popular in Japan, I guess it's too cute for the west.

>Claim: Most of the console is JRPGS.
Actually I said "almost every good game on the console is a shit-tier turn-based JRPG". That's a little different from "most of the console is JRPGs". Nice reading comprehension you autistic slug.
>Fact: N64 only had like a few 2D games released period, and I doubt it could in principle be that great at 2D anyways. The Saturn was better at 2D, but it didn't have that much of a 2D library.
Yeah uh, you do realize that the number of 2D games released for the system has literally nothing to do with how good it was at outputting 2D graphics, right? You're correct, there are very few 2D games on the system, but the N64 was a complete beast and could create much more visually intense 2D graphics than either the Saturn or PS1. Find me a single game that looks as good as pic related.

>most powerful 2d console ever
Nobody actually believes this meme anyway. N64 actually had better 2D capabilities. Good luck getting visual fidelity like pic related on Saturn.

Yoshi's Story, anyone?
Granted, the game isn't that much loved because of its weird design direction and the fact it's different from the favorite Yoshi's Island, but if you want 2D eye candy, Yoshi's Story does the job.

Rakuga Kids is another one I'd recommend although it's JP/EU only.
The game is a 2D fighting game made by Konami and the characters all have an insane amount of animation frames that at some point makes me think of something like Darkstalkers in terms of animations and how bizarre some enemies can get with their attacks.

Some others that are japan-only:
Bakuretsu Buteki Bangai-O (this one is rather well known for being a Treasure game, hella fun)
Wonder Project J2 (sort of raising sim/RPG hybrid with beautiful 2D animations and big sprites)
Getter Love (a mix of dating sim and party game, by Hudson)
Super Robot Wars 64 (just another entry in the prolific SRW series, this one is exclusive to N64)
Zool - Majou Tsukai Densetsu (monster-catching RPG similar to Dragon Quest Monsters)

There's probably more but that's what I can remember now.
