It didn't so much scare the living shit out of me as much as just made me feel *really* disgusted, slightly creeped out, and even a bit bad. Like, I don't know, it's a horribly deformed legless mutant who cannot go anywhere without having to drag their skinless body in probably constant and atrocious pain. Killing it took so long and I would just always end up accidentally falling down this gigantic room, leaving enough time for Lara to scream three times before hitting the lava.

I don't know. I just have bad memories of it. In a good way.
