I only used a PC or tablet for PS1 emulation out of necessity. If you are using an RG35XX-H and still have problems that seems entirely like a you issue.

Sometimes, but I keep it all small and sleek.

I already have the Zero 2 and that shit is just barely usable. I mean, its six buttons and d-pad are fucking nice, but still so fucking small. Owning a Zero 2 is the main reason I never fucking bothered with the og Miyoo Mini or RG280V.

I enjoy the Zero2 as a complimentary controller to my Galaxy Tab A7, which I mostly use for notes/transferring files at college. But during breaks when my friends are busy at the gym/running back to their dorms to freshen up/going out on a date, I can open RetroArch and have a fun simple time. The Zero2 is durable and usable. I just wish it used USB-C.

I actively use my Galaxy S9 (my main phone but gonna upgrade in September or so when I switch carriers, though it's mostly for Pokemon Go and Roblox), Anbernic RetroMini (my main GBA emulation handheld, playing Mother 3 on it atm), and my SF2000 (mostly casually picking up and playing random Genesis titles with it while multitasking, shit to stimulate me but also not distract me while editing/working at my computer). During college semesters, I have a little Galaxy lite7 tablet with a bluetooth keyboard case and an 8bitdo controller for N64 emulation between classes when not doing shit with the international students.
I would say, besides my phone because it's my phone, my SF2000 gets the most use at the moment.

Do 8Bitdo controllers on a tablet upset /vr/ that much? It's what I do at college.

Brother.
I only got the Tab A7 lite because it was only $100 Canadian on Black Friday, and I found this adorable little bluetooth keyboard case at Value Village for $5.99 that fits it perfectly. I couldn't afford a laptop, and Android runs slower on it than any other device I've ever used in my life, but once an app is open it functions just as good as any program on a $1000 Windows laptop would. I haven't tried anything crazy on it like PS3 emulation since I was mostly just interested in emulating PS1 and N64 games, and those all run flawlessly.

Just use a bluetooth controller with a tablet.
