How do y'all keep your cables organized? I currently have 12 different consoles (Plus a VCR/DVD player and a cable box) hooked up to two different TVs on my entertainment center, and keeping all the cables from becoming a tangled mess is impossible.

What are the must-have games that didn't get a western release? Preferably ones that don't require knowing moonrunes?

One of the few things that stops me from killing myself is knowing my parents will sell my games for a lot less than they're worth.

What are some comfy Famicom/Disk System games that we didn't get in the west? Preferably ones that don't require too much knowledge of Japanese.

You know, we never really talk about the Disk System and it's games, at least from what I seen. While some disk system games were already ported to other regions, what about games that didn't leave it? Or hell, we can even talk about the differences.

You guys are forgetting the Disk System. It was successful to the point that Nintendo only produced Famicom Disk games for a certain period and some of the big Famicom titles (such as Lost Levels and Zelda II) were released exclusively in disk card format with no cartridge equivalent.

NES couldn't, the Famicom Disk System could

Aside from controller and hardware scrolling I don't see many advantages

Hey, /vr/. I'm considering buying myself a Famicom + FDS For my birthday in a few days, and the one i've found is an AV one. Does anyone know if AV Famicoms still require Channel 95 (Or whatever it is?) Or will it just work on the AV line out? Sorry if this is a dumb question, this would be my first import console.

Also Famicom/NES thread. Discuss your favorite games.
