It's funny how you guys act as if Nintendo are more child-friendly now than in the past.
Nintendo was never about making games for toddlers, except these educative software Mario games they licensed for PC in the early 90s, their games are generally for all audiences. I think Zelda in particular are oriented toward teens, but can also be enjoyed by kids or adults alike.
The designs on OOT3D are that of the original OOT's designs, except due to the N64's limitations, they couldn't make them like that, so they have a sort of more edgy appareance, but if they could, they would have made them look like the models on OOT3D.

If you think Nintendo should care about not offending people, then tell them to stop making deals with Playboy to promote stuff like Bayonetta 2, etc.
