/vr/ - Retro Games

What really did it for me was Retroarch, especially with the lag compensation feature it recently added. Real hardware + crt is very nice, especially for having old games look their best, but this is honestly 95% there for me right now.

There are a few things I'd still keep original hardware for, at least for the time being:
- Modded PS2, since emulation is still filled with tons of issues
- Modded Xbox, because its not even emulated
- If you have a saturn then I would keep it around although good lord the games are expensive as hell

With newer cores even the N64 seems like it's gotten to where it needs to be. I'm satisfied playing with emulation these days.
