It's a perfect series for chip-sucking, so why didn't it go to arcades?

Games that are too easy.

You can breeze through a lot of stage sections without even needing to shoot. Mid level checkpoints healing you and starting from there at a game over destroys any semblance of challenge.

I don't know why you guys always sperg out over Final Fantasy 7 or Ocarina of Time. THIS heap of "meh" is the true king of overrated games.

Don't mind me, I'm just posting the best game in the Mega Man X series.

What a fantastic game. Relentless action and super cool bosses. Even had a QT on the map screen. Why was X5 such a disappointment?

Just beat this for the first time, it was a lot easier than X or X2, but it was still fun getting to play as Zero. Maybe I'll try his games next on gba...

The simple fact of the matter is that the Playstation was ultimately the cause of Mega Man going to shit.

As decent as X4 was, you can't deny that it was a sharp decline from the SNES trilogy and the series continued to decline from there. Even the classic series went to hell with 8, only for it to return to form with R&F back on the SNES.

Sigma was really tough on a single life bar but once you collect the energy tanks he is pretty easy.

Never gets old for me

I often just emulate it on my psp. I find it good to waste a couple of hours trying to get everything.
