Yes. Also, the ags-001 is the best way to play gba. The 101 screen is oversaturated making the colours look garish, and in my experience the ghosting is pretty bad. Some people prefer the "vibrant" colours, but it's objectively not how the games are supposed to look.

The OG DS actually does have a backlight as well.

Is ghosting really that bad on a DS lite? I've heard that a lot but not had an issue with mine, but maybe I got lucky.
