Tried this game on a whim, it’s actually pretty fun. Getting those power ups and making your ship better and better really makes it addicting to play.

I remember a game I played around 1999-2000 on GB maybe GBC but I cant remember the name. It was a space shoot em up sort of like rtype or gradius. The thing that i remember the most about this game is inbetween levels a shop screen would show up with a picture of an alien, and the upgrades you could buy like guns that would spin around your ship and shoot lasers. Help me /vr/ i havent found the name of this game since 2000.
