I remember the standing and running poses of Donald in Maui form being very exaggerated and horizontal so they took a shitload of space on screen, and made very easy to run into things until you got accustomed. Also, the funny snap-flip when turning around instantly swapped half your volume to the opposite side, so you could overlay yourself on projectiles or traps by simply repositioning yourself.

Again, it was just about getting the hang of it, but they clearly weren't thinking about usabilty when doing the art. Maui stretching around and liberally invading random parts of the screen wasn't exactly fun beyond how great the game looked.

I also have a Windows Cold Shadow around, along with Earthworm Jim Special Edition and a couple of other early ports that are a fucking nightmare to play on a modern system.

There's a repackaged portable version of Cold Shadow going around with working music if you're interested (pretty easy to find)

What's the best version of pic related available?

Also discuss quality Disney license games I guess; I only played this for a bit in a demo kiosk back in the day, and I've always been curious about it.
