/vr/ - Retro Games

Is there a reason not to pick up the Ambernic RG353V for playing up to 5th Gen + DS? I'm looking up reviews but was curious if anyone here had any in-person experience with running early 3D games well enough on this chip since it's been updated. The vertical form factor gets my dick hard but I know N64 emulation specifically can be tricky.

Depends on what you're looking for and want kind of games you want to play.

- small, very portable and pocketable
- not too comfortable to play due to size
- plays everything up to PSX

- about the same size as the original brick Game Boy
- plays "nearly" everything up to Dreamcast/PSP
- weird dual stick placement
- can install Android and all the associated benefits and games
