SNES or DS? I only played this game once 10 years without finishing it. Figured I'm way overdo for a proper run. The plan is to use emulation, but the DS version probably doesn't cost much.

I mean, don't get me wrong, I enjoyed playing it, but I totally do not understand why it has the hype and following it does. Maybe because I'm not much of a JRPG fan in general, but it just seemed like a nice, basic kids story wrapped up in a fairly simple turn based combat system.

Why don't they make another Chrono Trigger game? I loved those characters, game style and plot. Would it really be so hard? Just retcon the sequel and do it fer real with SNES graphics.

My husband doesn't like Chrono Trigger.

Despite owning Chrono Trigger for both the SNES and DS, I have never actually played either for more than half an hour. I am not currently playing anything so I figure its finally time to playthough. Which version should I play? I would like legit pros and cons to each version please.
