late one ladder I made a gf barb and the merc's killing speed + survivability was really bad in hell. I used ebotd war pike, fort, and upped CoT.

I dialed back to nightmare and he basically got the job done averaging half a million gold in an easy 1-minute run. But nightmare, so drops are trash. Gf barbs are ok,though it seems to me you should give up on getting decent drops and just get gold, from nm.

I do not know how the shit you killed the council in hell with wealth, CoT, and the weird ghost spear.
