Does anyone know if the Saturn uses the colored spheres in teh system menu to display error codes? After doing the teardown guide, I went to play a game, but nothing will boot and for some reason the left sphere is yellow and the right one is red. Sometimes both will be read.

I've tried several discs and the same thing happens every time. Oddly, the Saturn can read the number of tracks and length of the discs but none of the data itself, including playing audio tracks. I think it might be a loose connection between the power and system boards. It looks like I'm going back in.
